I should update soon….
I have been a little unproductive lately, I did just get back from “vacation” in vermont so I didn’t have much time to doodle.
However, I am heading an in house gallery-art show at work, which is very exciting. I have quite a few participants already, but still need to finish working out the kinks with admin.
But still, it’s a leadership role and the experience is great, especially because I one day hope to have my own gallery :3
I am also helping with the in house zine we have at work. Hoping to get another folks to help to make it a monthly thing instead of the quarterly zine we’ve been doing. So there’s that as well..
OH and, I might be taking on the clothing swap at work as well! One of the other girls who was taking care of it just got a huge promotion, and apparently was pretty stressed about running it previously in the first place..so I mentioned taking part of it to one of my coworkers, but need to contact her personally. I was in late yesterday and out sick today (stupid migraine :[ ) so I need to do that next week.
A whole slew of things in the works so far during 2013.
It’s looking to be a pretty bright future if I keep up on things! :D
I finally started my new job this week. It went well! Met a lot of cool girls and almost finished with my inital training, which is exciting.
I was going to go out tonight with a bunch of my coworkers for one of the girl’s birthdays, but I’ve felt crummy all day (acid reflux and stuff :[ ) and feel super tired. I’m lame. I’m not used to waking up early yet again hahaha
but next week it’s going to get harder cause I gotta be at work @ 6:30am -_-
But I’ll take the weekend to relax and paint, so expect some posts! :D
I am diligently working I swear
I need to post some new photos. I’ve been hella busy sketching out a bunch of new pieces. I started some random works as well in between, need to mix in some chaos among the order. Mix my brain up.
I am working on a portrait (in watercolors) of Zoe Flood at the moment and should hopefully be done with it tonight. I might go back and tweek it in a week or so like I usually do but for now I am pretty happy with it.
Other than that, I’ve been out enjoying the sunshine. It was very warm and bright out this past weekend so I spent most of my sunday cycling around the city. I did end up with a bit of a sunburn which sucks but meh, whatevs.
